What can I do to combat spam
We have done a lot of the work for you by deploying highly sophisticated and finely tuned spam filtering systems. A combination of DNSBL's, Greylisting, and Spamassassin ensure that most spam is captured and eliminated before it goes into your mailbox.
All you need to do is turn it on.
The use of email on mobile devices is getting more popular everyday, and the built in email clients generally do not have spam filtering functionality. This is one of the reasons why we try to eliminate most spam before they enter your inbox.
How do I turn it on?
Spam filtering is provided as a complimentary service to all Horizon Hosting subscribers. In your control panel, you'll see the ability to turn on the Spam Filter. We recommend that you initially not set the spam filter to delete mails.
Positively identified spam will be marked and clean mail will pass through unhindered.
After you feel comfortable that the spam filter is not returning any false positives (legitimate mails mistaken for spam), allow the server to delete the spam mails as soon as they come in.
